The Australia Pacific Islands Business Council, on behalf of members, warmly congratulates Pacific Infrastructure Specialist Reeves Envico, one of our distinguished member companies, on being named 2025 Victorian Exporter of the Year at the Governor of Victoria Export Awards.

Reeves Envico has built a reputation over nearly four decades as a specialist infrastructure contractor in the Pacific, delivering critical projects ranging from clean water and wastewater systems to cyclone resilient buildings. The company has managed projects financed by international development partners such as the Asian Development Bank. Their work spans multiple Pacific nations including Kiribati, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, the Marshall Islands, Tuvalu, Micronesia and Nauru, where they currently manage sixteen active projects.

The Award citation highlighted Reeves Envico’s delivery of major projects such as the Tarawa Hospital in Kiribati, a new maternity facility in Honiara in the Solomon Islands, and a desalination plant in Tarawa that will help secure long term water access for island communities. Their export activity has also been significant, with more than four hundred containers of Australian and New Zealand construction materials shipped in the past year to support Pacific operations.

What makes this win especially meaningful for APIBC is that our current President is the Managing Director of Reeves Envico. This recognition is both a personal and institutional milestone for the Council. Reeves Envico’s leadership in the Pacific, combining technical excellence, sustainable approaches and strong local engagement, reflects the Council’s mission to deepen trade, build capacity and strengthen partnerships across the region.

This award is not only a celebration of Reeves Envico’s outstanding work but also an example of the kind of business engagement that the Council seeks to foster. It demonstrates the value of resilient, locally rooted and globally competitive enterprises. The success of Reeves Envico will inspire other Australian and Pacific companies to grow responsibly, invest in capability and expand export activity across the region.

The Council applauds Reeves Envico and its team for this achievement and looks forward to supporting their continued success in shaping the future of Pacific business.
