The Australia Pacific Islands Business Council (APIBC) in partnership with the Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) are pleased to announce that online registrations for the 10th Australia Solomon Islands Business are now open. The Forum will be held in Brisbane, Australia on 12 September and 13 September 2018.
The Forum will take place at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, located in Brisbane’s South Bank precinct and this year has been expanded beyond the normal one day event to allow for better coverage of the rich range of topics available. The Forum will feature speakers, sessions and updates that will be invaluable for those currently doing business in Solomon Islands or looking to do so. There are a number of areas of interest and possible growth that will be covered in the program including trade and investment, mining, economy, law, governance, tourism, and infrastructure. This event brings together senior corporate and government representatives from both Australia and Solomon Islands. Invited keynote speakers for the event include The Hon Rick Houenipwela, Prime Minister of Solomon Islands and The Hon Steven Ciobo MP, Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment.

The Forum provides an annual opportunity for Australian and Solomon Islands businesses and government to come together, to connect with established business colleagues and to hear about new business opportunities. Attendance is a must for anyone doing any business between Australia and Solomon Islands, and for Solomon Islands business looking to engage in the Australian market”.

The Australia Pacific Islands Business Council exists to build effective business relationships between Australia and Solomon Islands to support trade and investment between Australia and Solomon Islands and economic growth in Solomon Islands. This event is a great way to further develop these connections.
